About BPCL Petrochemicals

In keeping with the “Make In India” Vision of the Government of India, we are proud to be the first Oil Company in India to venture into the petrochemical segment of Acrylates and Acrylic Acid.

At present, the end-users of these petrochemical products are totally dependant on imports. Our Propylene Derivatives Petrochemicals Project (PDPP) is nearing completion at BPCL Kochi Refinery, where we shall manufacture 329 KTPA of Acrylic Acid, Butyl Acrylate, 2 Ethylhexyl Acrylate, 2 Ethyl Hexanol, Normal Butanol and Iso Butanol from Polymer Grade Propylene.
